In this commercial job in the Sydney Metropolitan area. The damage was caused when a contractor was installing a door stop. During the instillation of a door stopper by a tradesman there was a pulled zipper thread caused when drilling hole to install the door stopper. The main challenge we faced with this carpet repair was trying to match the construction of the pile though we ultimately were successful. As you can see, we re-tufted the missing thread back into the damaged area.
In this residential job in the Sydney Metropolitan area. The damage was caused by a dog. I had to cut out the damaged area and replace it with spare carpet the customer had kept stored away from when the carpet was first installed. The challenges I faced was trying to match the carpet perfectly so the joins would not be visible using a process called invisible mending. It was also on a join so repairing carpets on or near joins can create other problems.
Our Sydney Local Eastern Suburbs Carpet Repair team responded to the call of our customer in need of repair to their carpet water damage in their residential home. On this carpet water damage project, we were pretty lucky in that our customer had a spare piece of carpet from the original instillation in their garage. In this case we only had to cut a piece out of the area that was damaged and match an exact size piece from the spare carpet to sew back into the carpet.
